Where to Find SF Reviews

I just threw the Reviewers list up. I'm hoping it will grow--along with the number of reviews I get for Awesome Lavratt, as I learn of more sites. If you know of more sites, please let me know.
Here's the site in its maiden form.

Hey Ann, check out our page (http://sf-fantasy-books.blogspot.com) and add as to your list. We'd be grateful.

Thanks thrinidir! You got it! I'll update it this evening. Got two more from SFFWorld, including the fact that I forgot them (this from a post I placed there). Doh!

Thrinidir,
My thread got move to ??? on sffworld. Too much self promotion? I've been there since 2006. What gives? Can I add anything to your entry on my new page? Like how someone might send you a book for review? A guidelines page? Contact info? I added you just now.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for dropping me a link. I'm a little confused, though. Can you explain the following?

Query 1st?
Pro/Rdrs
Accepts PRs

shereadsbooks,
You're welcome. Just found you today from my Terry Pratchett google alert. Query first? This is to tell the author whether the reviewer wants to receive a query email first or just be sent the book. P/R is Professional or Reader reviews. This one is a bit fuzzy. I'm open to suggestions. Some sites are just reader forums where anyone can post a review even if they can't form a proper sentence. On the other hand Pros is not always the right word if the reviewer is doing it on their own "for the love" rather than renumeration. Let's face it, how many of these reviewers actually DO get paid? So Pro is probably not the right word. I definitely need to put an explanation of my shorthand somewhere. :( PRs are press releases. Meaning, does this magazine/blog post news? Hope that clears things up. Let me know what your preferences are and I'll update the site. I put you as a pro, didn't I? Can't remember.

Let me know if Awesome Lavratt looks interesting and I'll send you one for review. It's funny SF, a tongue-in-cheek space opera full of puns. You can read the first few pages at the printer's site. Just click on the "buy it now " button on the right and then the purchase button will take you to the printer's site. It's POD (print on demand), but from a traditional publisher.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for clearing those up for me. My settings should be "yes" for query first, "no" for press releases -- and I'm not sure about the other one. I'm certainly not reviewing for money (or any other perk besides getting to keep the reviewed book)... it's definitely a "for the love" endeavour. But I do more than the "reader review" sites you mentioned. Perhaps a third category might be in order? That way you could have one for the pros, one for reader review sites, and one for review sites with one non-professional review author ... though RSWONPRA is a bit much for a handy acronym!

I'd be interested in reviewing your book. Why don't you drop me a note -- sadoatcakes[at]gmail[dot]com -- and we can talk about it?
